The Wusthof Classic 2-Piece Mini Asian Knife Set includes a classic Japanese Santoku and a flat-cut paring knife, equipping your kitchen with a great prep set. The 5-inch hollow-edge Santoku is a classic Japanese cooking knife ideal for thin slices. Special bevels on the blade create air pockets between the blade and food, preventing slices from sticking to the knife for cleaner and more efficient slices. The flat-cut parer is designed for detail work, and the tip makes easy work of juliennes.

Each knife in the Classic triple riveted series by Wusthof-Trident is forged from a single piece of specially tempered high carbon stainless steel to ensure outstanding strength. The result of the patented Wusthof process is extraordinary, easy to maintain sharpness. The handles of these full-tang knifes are ergonomic, and are seamless, making them extremely hygienic. Classic knives by Wusthof are ideal for the professional chef or home cooking enthusiast.

Engraving: Up to 12 characters can be custom laser engraved onto the blade of the Classic 5" HE Santoku Knife in this set.

The blade is then sharpened on a whetstone using precision robots. The result is an optimum cutting edge along the entire length of the blade, resulting in an extremely high initial cutting potential and exceptionally long edge retention.
