The Swiss Modern 8" Chef's Knife by Victorinox has a razor-sharp 8-inch blade that's offers superior maneuverability, making it the knife of choice for precise cuts, as well as for larger tasks that benefit from the blade's width.

The Swiss Modern collection of cutlery is a beautiful, contemporary line featuring hand made, sustainable Italian Walnut handles with clean lines. The natural grain of the genuine walnut wood makes each piece unique, and gives the knives an artisanal look and feel. Victorinox Swiss Modern knives have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again. These blades are the same as those on the award-winning Fibrox Pro line by Victorinox.
