I decided to order this to see if it was an adequate replacement for my Wenger nail clipper, which I purchased more than 20 years ago. It is obviously based on the Wenger clipper.
The major asset is that it has a knife blade in place of the small eyeglasses screwdriver, a definite plus. The main drawback is it has no tweezers or toothpick, which I rarely use but like having around just in case.
The Wenger has a contoured grip, which provides a sure grip, but the walnut handle on this has a better, surer feel. Oh, OK -- I just really like the wood.
As far as a nail clipper goes, this will probably become my everyday carry. But that doesn't mean I'm getting rid of the Wenger -- it is definitely a collector's item, and it also goes some places the Victorinox can't -- e.g., airline security, or any other places where knife blades aren't welcome.
But on the whole, I am happy with my purchase, even with the lack of tweezers and toothpick.
