The Tahiti 6" Salt & Pepper Mill Set by Peugeot is made from sustainably-harvested French beech wood that is dried, turned and finished before the mills' final assembly. This salt and pepper mill set's bright colors will bring style to any table.

The French-made Tahiti Pepper Mill has a helix-shaped double row of teeth to guide and hold the peppercorns and salt to ensure they are ground to the correct coarseness every time. The steel of the grinding mechanism will not corrode, and is ideal for maintaining its original sharpness and resisting wear over time.

The Tahiti salt grinder is made with Peugeot's Zirlion technology. It can grind the salt to a fine powder, making food taste saltier with 3x less salt than a standard grinding mechanism. 

The Zirlion mechanism is made of Zirconia, a synthetic mineral known for its strength, hardness and corrosion-resistance, ensuring that it won't chip and end up in your food or get rusty over time. Zirconia is often used for medical and aerospace applications, and is far superior to standard ceramics used for traditional salt grinders.

The Tahiti Mills have a classic adjustable grinding system. To change the coarseness of the grind, simply loosen or tighten the nut at the top of the mill, turning it clockwise for a finer grind, and counter-clockwise for a coarser grind.

Which Pepper Is Best in a Peugeot Pepper Mill?
For best results, use peppercorns with a maximum diameter of 6 mm (0.2-inches) or less in your Peugeot mill. The mill is designed to grind black, white, or dry green peppercorns and pink berries (blended with a maximum of 15% pink), as well as dried coriander.

Which Salt Is Best in a Peugeot Salt Mill?
For best results, use salt with a maximum diameter of 6 mm (0.24"). The mill is designed for dry coarse salt, dry sea salt or rock salt. Do not use this mill with wet sea salt.
