Simply twist the bottom of the mill to one of the 6 clearly marked, pre-defined settings, or any point in between. The grinds range from powdery-fine to extra-coarse. Once set, the grind will remain consistent until you select another setting, as operation of the mill will not cause the adjustment to slip.
