  The Opinel Picnic+ Cutlery Insert Accessories Set includes everything you need to turn your own Opinel No.8 knife into a compact, easy-to-carry picnic tool. This set, part of the Opinel Nomad Cooking collection, ensures you will always have a fork, spoon and napkin in addition to your trusty No.8 Opinel folding knife. (NOTE: This is an add-on accessories set, and Opinel No.8 folding knife which functions as the handle is NOT included in this set.)

  The Picnic Plus Accessories Set is ideal for hiking, picnics, or any lunch on the go. The included fork and spoon insert for the Opinel No.8 lock into the handle of your trusty knife (not included) using the Opinel Virobloc safety ring.

  The fork, and spoon included, as well as your own No.8 knife are easily and compactly stored in the dual-purpose microfiber cloth which works as both a napkin and carrying case. Slots for the fork, spoon and your knife keep everything secured, and an elastic ensures your utensils stay safe and clean while you're on the go.

  Compatibility:
  This set is compatible with all wooden handled No.8 folding knives equipped with the Virobloc safety ring circa 2000. They are intended to be used ONLY with non-altered Opinel No.08 wooden handled knives. They are NOT compatible with No.08 Slim Effile knives, No.08 gardening knives, No.08 pruning knives or No.08 mushroom knives.

  Caring for Your Opinel Picnic Plus Accessories:
  Fork and spoon are dishwasher safe. Hand wash your knife (not included). Do not immerse your knife in water, as this could warp the wooden handle. Dry the blade before closing.

  To easily insert the dry, clean fork or spoon into your knife handle, clean the knife's hinge thoroughly and ensure it is free of dirt and other debris. If the knife handle has been recently exposed to humidity, dry the wood by placing it in a bag of rice or next to a heat source for a few hours. Insert the knife or spoon, wiggling so it fills the hinge completely, if necessary.
