  • The Opinel neo6 Olive Wood Folding Knife is designed to be the ultimate everyday carry. It is compact (less than 4" when closed) and lightweight (under an ounce). Opinel's intuitive, easy-to use OPIFLEX System secures the blade of the neo6 while in use, without the need for a lock ring.

    The Opiflex System works by keeping the blade open or closed without the need for a lock ring. It uses an innovative, intuitive ferrule (end cap) that has a notch with a tab that acts as a spring. The blade shifts into the open or closed position and is secured there, but can be opened or closed easily.

    This knife is perfect for everyday adventures, as well as everything from setting up camp to cooking by the fire. It is equally at home with DIY projects as out in the woods.

    The blade of the neo6 has a slightly rounded tip to comply with certain city safety requirements, and is crafted from low-maintenance stainless steel, which holds an edge exceptionally well and is very easy to sharpen. 

    Crafted in the French Alps, this folding pocket knife features a beautiful olive wood handle made from wood sourced from sustainably managed forests in France. It is contoured for a comfortable grip. It is finished with a lanyard hole, and comes with a strong leather lanyard made from recyclable materials.

    Caring for your Opinel Knife:
    Hand wash only. Do not immerse your knife in water, as this could warp the wooden handle. Dry the blade before closing, as carbon steel has very low resistance to corrosion. Wipe the blade clean after use and oil it frequently.
