The Helle Utvaer Knife, developed in collaboration with Danish knife maker Jesper Voxnaes, is a strong, modern field knife. This full tang knife, built for bushcraft use, has an extended pommel designed for rough tasks.
The drop point Scandinavian ground blade is made of 12C27 stainless steel, and is hand finished. While thin enough for precise cutting and carving, this blade is still robust enough for serious use.
The handle of this knife is made of carefully selected, hand shaped curly birch wood and has two grommet holes, one that allows you to throw it on a carabiner or cord. It is a medium size, fitting small to medium hands very comfortably.
The Utvaer knife comes with a genuine leather belt sheath which is also hand crafted in the Helle factory in Norway.
This knife is named after the Utvaer islands, the westernmost group of islands where Norway meets the North Sea.
This beautiful, practical knife is hand made in Holmedal, Norway by Helle's highly skilled artisans in the Helle factory, which is perched on the edge of a fjord. No two Helle knives are identical, as they are handcrafted with natural materials, but they are all inspected manually after the crafting process is complete to ensure perfection.
Personalization: Up to 8 characters can be custom laser engraved on the blade of the Helle Utvaer.
