  • The Helle Fjellkniven is a traditional all-purpose everyday carry knife with a 12C27 stainless steel blade and a comfortable contoured handle made from curly birch. Its name, Fjellkniven, is Norwegian for "Mountain Knife," and is a testament to what this knife is capable of - everything from your everyday tasks to adventures in the rugged mountains of Norway.

    The beautiful, satin finish handle of the Fjellkniven is crafted from a single, carefully selected piece of curly birch wood that is sanded and polished. It is finished toward the blade with a finger guard for safety.

    The non-laminated Helle 12C27 stainless steel blade is shaped to a scandi edge with a drop point and sharpened by hand to a razor sharp edge.

    This versatile knife comes with a Nordic style genuine leather sheath featuring a belt loop for an easy and secure carry. This sheath does not require a keeper strap.

    This beautiful, practical knife is hand made in Holmedal, Norway by Helle's highly skilled artisans in the Helle factory, which is perched on the edge of a fjord. No two Helle knives are identical, as they are handcrafted with natural materials, but they are all inspected manually after the crafting process is complete to ensure perfection.

    Personalization: Up to 8 characters can be custom laser engraved on the blade of the Helle Fjellkniven knife.

    The Helle Norway Story
    Helle knives are crafted by hand in the Helle factory, which is situated in the village of Holmedal, Norway on the edge of a beautiful fjord. The factory was founded in 1932, and while it has evolved from the factory initially operated without electrical power, the hands of skilled craftsmen are still its cornerstone.

    Helle knives, though beautiful, are made to be used and are rugged enough to stand up to the wild mountains, fjords and open seas that surround the factory. They are designed and made by people who use them in this wild environment. In other words, they stand up to the real world.
