  The Gatco Double Duty Knife Sharpener is a compact knife sharpener that combines the best of two worlds with a medium grind Edgemate carbide sharpener and a fine ceramic sharpener.

  On the medium side of this sharpener are two precision-ground tungsten carbide blades pre-set at a 35-degree angle. These blades will sharpen even the dullest knife blade with a mere for to five light strokes.

  After sharpening the dull blade with the tungsten carbide side of the Double Duty Sharpener, a pass through the two fine ceramic rods will put a final polished edge on it.

  Slip-resistant rubber pads on both ends of the ABS Polymer frame of this sharpener keep it from slipping while in use, and rubber finger grips on the sides ensure you have a firm grasp while working.

  How to Sharpen Your Knife with the GATCO Double Duty Knife Sharpener:

  To sharpen your knife with the GATCO Double Duty Knife Sharpener, stand it on the work surface with the medium tungsten carbide blades facing up, and place the heel of your knife blade between them and perpendicular to the work surface. Carefully draw your knife blade through the rods with a gentle slicing motion from heel to tip. Repeat this 4 or 5 times. Once the blade is sharp, repeat the same motions with the fine polishing rods on the other side.
