The Fox Knives Black Folding Mushroom Knife is an Italian-made knife created specifically for mushroom foraging and harvesting. The curved blade allows for the precise cutting of delicate mushroom stems without damage to the mycelium, the delicate fibers from which new mushrooms grow. The brush at the opposite end of the knife is perfect for removing dirt and other debris from newly harvested mushrooms before storage.
Both the knife blade and the brush fold into the handle of this convenient mushroom knife, making it ideal for taking out into the woods. The handles are made of rugged black ABS with a polished brass rivet. There is a convenient clip for carrying this knife, as well.
The Fox Black Mushroom Knife is made by Fox Knives in Maniago, Italy, the knife-capital of Italy. Fox Knives, a family business, has been crafting award-winning outdoor knives in their factory in Maniago since 1977.
