The Case RussLock Amber Bone Knife is named for one of the original Case founders, J. Russel "Russ" Case. A lever with gimping makes the RussLock easy to open with one hand, and a liner lock secures the blade in the open position while in use.
The amber bone handles of this RussLock knife are finished with a peach seed jig pattern, and the front has an inlaid metal Case Knives shield. This handle material, rendered from the shin bone of Zebu cattle, is at the heart of the Case line. As the bone is a natural material, the handles of each of these knives are all unique and may not exactly match the image.
The blades on this knife are made from mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel, a special blend of carbon steel that holds an edge exceptionally well, and also boasts extraordinary strength and corrosion resistance.
The RussLock Clip blade is a great multi-purpose utility blade that is well designed for detail work. The pointed tip can be used for intentional punctures.
The Case RussLock Amber Bone Knife is made in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA from domestic and imported materials, and is backed by Case's limited lifetime warranty.
