The Case Marilla Marbled Carbon Fiber and Anodized Aluminum Pocket Knife is a rugged one-hand opening knife with an S35VN stainless steel drop-point blade and a marbled, textured carbon fiber front handle scale and black anodized aluminum back handle scale.
The marbled, textured carbon fiber is durable, yet lightweight. The weave pattern in the center of the front scale adds a reliable grip to this tough knife, even in cold, wet conditions. In addition to this textured inlay on the handle, jimping (a series of small notches) along the spine of the blade near the handle adds additional control.
The blade on this Case Marilla Knife is a drop point blade, which is ideally suited for everyday use, as well as for hunting and other rugged outdoor tasks. It features a rounded belly for long cuts, and a pointed tip for piercing and precise cuts. The curved cutting edge is a full 3.5 inches. A sabre taper grind creates a proper point and enhances the strength of the blade.
The blade locks into the open position when fully deployed with a frame lock for safety and ease of use.
The blade on the Marilla is made from S35VN stainless steel with a stonewashed satin finish. S35VN steel is a tough, wear-resistant chrome and vanadium-based steel. It is easy to sharpen, offers superior edge retention and resists chips and breakage very well.
The blade is easily deployed with one hand with a flip of your index finger for quick, reliable deployment. The steel ball bearing pivot keeps the blade opening and closing flawlessly.
A deep carry steel pocket clip on the black aluminum back handle allows you to stow your knife deep in your pocket for a comfortable, secure carry on the right. A lanyard hole adds even more flexibility to this everyday carry.
The Marilla Carbon Fiber and Anodized Aluminum Knife is made in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA from domestic and imported materials, and is backed by Case's limited lifetime warranty. It is named for a spring in the Bradford, Pennsylvania area that is a favorite spot for exploring and outdoor ventures.
Engraving: Up to 8 characters can be engraved on both sides of the blade of the Marilla.
