The Buck Paklite Pro Field Kit Hunting Knife Set equips you for field game processing with the Paklite Pro 631 Field Knife and the 635 Cape Knife. Each of these knives comes with its own polypropylene sheath, and the set also includes a holster to accommodate both knives and keep these handy hunting knives together and at hand.
Paklite Pro knife blades are exceptionally strong, and can complete game processing without needing to be resharpened in the field.
The 631 Field knife's skinner blade is full-bellied and has a strong, thick point well suited to even tough tasks. It is the ideal blade shape not only for skinning, but for other outdoor tasks.
This 635 Cape knife's drop-point blade is full-bellied and has a strong, thick point. The top of the blade drops down (giving it its name), which minimizes accidental punctures. It is a great hunting and multi-tasking outdoor knife.
Both blades are made of Buck's S35VN stainless steel, as this has a high carbon and chromium content for wear resistance and edge retention. Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blades easy to resharpen when needed. They are hardened through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.
The handles of Buck's Paklite knives are minimalist and ergonomic. The cut-outs and jimping provide a secure grip, even when things get messy. The OD Green Micarta handles make them comfortable to hold, and can be removed for easy cleaning.
Engraving: Up to 8 characters can be engraved on the blades of the skinner and the drop point knives of the Buck Paklite Pro Field Kit Hunting Knife Set, on the same side as the BUCK branding.
