  • The Buck 724 Mustang Folding Knife is a lightweight everyday carry that packs a punch. It clocks in at just 3.2 ounces, but has a strong 420HC locking blade and a strong anodized aluminum handle, so it doesn't sacrifice on utility whether you're on the job or in the back woods.

    The drop point shape of this knife means it is full bellied, and has a strong, thick point that makes it rugged enough for heavy tasks. The top of this strong, versatile blade drops down toward the tip, minimizing accidental punctures. Jimping along the spine and a thumb hole add to your control over the knife.

    When opened fully, the 3.25-inch blade on the Mustang locks safely into position with a mid-lock back design. When closed, the knife is 4.25-inches for convenient everyday carry. 

    The blade of the 724 Mustang Knife is made of stonewash finish 420HC stainless steel, as this material has both exceptional corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed. It is hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of RC58 through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.

    When the blade is fully opened, it locks securely into place. The lock is released by pushing down on the rocker visible in the center of the knife's back and folding the blade closed.

    The handles of the Mustang Knife are anodized aluminum for strength and weight.
