Buck 659 Pursuit Large Folding Knife

The Buck 659 Pursuit Large Folding Knife was designed to be the ideal mid-range hunting knife designed for every hunter - from the novice to the experienced - as well as a multi-purpose knife. This large, highly capable knife is perfect for large game detailing and processing whitetail and small game, as well as other outdoor and everyday tasks.

The strong drop point blade opens easily with either hand thanks to thumb studs. A lockback mechanism keeps the blade locked open while in use for safety. A comfortable non-slip handle, razor-sharp blade and compact size when folded combine to make this an exceptional go to for your next hunting excursion or outdoor adventure.

The Large Pursuit's drop-point blade is full-bellied and has a strong, thick point well suited to even tough tasks. The top of the blade drops down (giving it its name), which minimizes accidental punctures. The high, hollow grind of the blade facilitates long, sweeping cuts.

The blade of the Pursuit is made of Buck's standard 420HC stainless steel, as this material has wear resistance almost as strong as high carbon alloys, while also featuring corrosion resistance comparable to chromium stainless steels.

Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed. It is hardened through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.

The handles of the 659 Large Pursuit are Glass Filled Nylon/Versaflex for superior grip, even in wet conditions.

Engraving: Up to 8 characters can be engraved on the side of the blade with the BUCK branding on the Buck 659 Large Pursuit Folding Knife.
