The Buck 112 Slim Select Folding Ranger Knife is a modern take on Buck's traditional 112 Ranger. Designed for outdoor adventures and hunting, the 112 Slim Select is also an everyday carry favorite due to its razor sharp clip-point blade crafted from 420HC stainless steel, a glass-filled nylon handle, and a versatile deep carry pocket clip.
The 420HC blade is finished with Buck's Advanced Edge2x Blade Technology, and has supreme edge retention. The 112 Slim Select is easily opened with one hand using the dual thumb studs. It locks open when in use, and closes with a rocking lock bar mechanism. (To close the knife, push down on the button on the spine with one hand, and fold the blade closed with the other.)
The glass filled nylon handles are light and durable. They certainly won't weigh you down. The deep carry pocket clip, added by popular customer demand, keeps the Buck 112 Slim Select handy.
The modified clip-point blade has a crescent tip that creates a thinner blade edge with a sharper point. This allows for detail work and cutting in tight spaces. It is also well-suited for creating punctures such as new holes in your belt.
When closed, the knife is just 4.25-inches for convenient everyday carry.

I own several Buck knives but was looking for something very light and super-slim that could either be slipped into a pocket or clipped onto a waistband, and the Buck 112 Slim Select fills the bill perfectly! Made in the USA and super affordable, the blade is strong and keeps its edge, the handle is comfortable even with the clip on. It's the perfect every-day carry.
