  • The Buck 112 Crossbar Folding Ranger Knife is an elevated version of the bestselling 112 Hunter. It features upgrades such as Macassar ebony handles and light aluminum bolsters, as well as a MagnaCut steel blade, a deep cary pocket clip, and a crossbar locking mechanism.

    Designed for hunting, it is also a traditional everyday favorite featuring a razor sharp clip-point blade crafted from premium BOS heat-treated MagnaCut steel. When the blade is fully opened, it locks securely into place. The lock is released by pushing down on the rocker visible on the top of the knife and folding the blade closed.

    The clip-point blade has a crescent tip that creates a thinner blade edge with a sharper point. This allows for detail work and cutting in tight spaces. It is also well-suited for creating punctures such as new holes in your belt.

    The handles of the 112 Crossbar Hunter are Macassar ebony wood with aluminum bolsters that are strong and lightweight. Please note that, as these handles are made of natural wood, each one is unique.

    Engraving: Up to 8 characters can be engraved on the blade of the Buck 112 Ranger Crossbar Knife.

    The History of the Buck 112 Ranger Knife
    The Buck 110 Hunter Knife was once found on many sailers' belts in the Navy. Legend has it that, one day when a fight on deck broke out, the sailors fought with their 110 Hunters. As they were so large, the captain enacted a limit on blade length on board. Buck created the smaller 112 Ranger in response to this new rule, and the 112 soon became another favorite on board and elsewhere.
