The Buck 110 Hunter Sport Folding Knife is a modern upgrade to Buck's bestselling 110 knife. Designed for hunting, it is also a traditional everyday favorite featuring a razor sharp clip-point blade crafted from satin-finish S30V stainless steel, an anodized aluminum handle with OD green canvas Micarta inlays, and a versatile deep carry pocket clip.
Besides the pocket clip, additions to the standard 110 include Torx screws that cover the standard rivet assembly, and dual thumbstuds that make it easy to open the blade with either hand.
The handles of the 110 Hunter Sport Knife are anodized aluminum, keeping this knife light for easy carry. The aluminum has OD green canvas Micarta inlays for added strength. The Micarta makes the handles durable, slip resistant, and nearly impervious to weather, oils, and solvents.
The clip-point blade has a crescent tip that creates a thinner blade edge with a sharper point. This allows for detail work and cutting in tight spaces. It is also well-suited for creating punctures such as new holes in your belt.
When opened fully, the 3.75-inch blade on the 110 Hunter Sport locks safely into position with a lock back design. The lock is released by pushing down on the rocker visible on the top of the knife and folding the blade closed.
When closed, the knife is just 4.88-inches for convenient everyday carry. The integrated pocket clip is Cerakote coated.
The blade of the 110 Hunter Sport is made of S30V steel with a satin finish. This steel contains carbon as well as high amounts of Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium. In plain English, this combination of element results in an outstanding steel with exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade is double-tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59.5-61. It will hold its edge over time, and is strong enough that it may require professional sharpening.

The History of the Buck 110 Hunter
Determined to provide a safe, sturdy, portable folding knife that locked safely open for use, Al Buck created the 110 Hunter in 1963. The trick was to combine the convenience of a folding blade with the strength of a fixed blade, and he rose to the occasion with this reliable knife design that quickly became a bestseller.
