  • Description
  • The Buck 110 Folding Hunter Knife is Buck's bestselling knife. This often-imitated knife design has been in the Buck lineup for over 50 years, and with good reason. Designed for hunting, it is also a traditional everyday favorite featuring a razor sharp clip-point blade crafted from 420HC stainless steel, and striking genuine ebony handles with brass bolsters.

The clip-point blade has a crescent tip that creates a thinner blade edge with a sharper point. This allows for detail work and cutting in tight spaces. It is also well-suited for creating punctures such as new holes in your belt.

When opened fully, the 3.75-inch blade on the 110 Hunter locks safely into position with a lock back design. When closed, the knife is just 4.88-inches for convenient everyday carry. The included genuine leather belt sheath makes bringing the 110 along even easier.

The blade of the 110 Hunter is made of Buck's standard 420HC stainless steel, as this material has both exceptional corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed. It is hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of RC58 through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.

When the blade is fully opened, it locks securely into place. The lock is released by pushing down on the rocker visible on the top of the knife and folding the blade closed.

The handles of the 110 Hunter are Crelicam Genuine Ebony. Buck has gone to great lengths, partnering with Taylor Guitars, to ensure a sustainable supply model for these genuine ebony handles. Buck treats the natural ebony with resin to create a nearly indestructible handle with a beautiful grain pattern. Please note that, as these handles are made of natural wood, each one is unique.

The History of the Buck 110 Hunter
Determined to provide a safe, sturdy, portable folding knife that locked safely open for use, Al Buck created the 110 Hunter in 1963. The trick was to combine the convenience of a folding blade with the strength of a fixed blade, and he rose to the occasion with this reliable knife design that quickly became a bestseller.

The product is great. I cannot be more pleased. I would suggest using someone other than the USPS to deliver your products. They are always late and unreliable. But, I still love the knife.
