The Buck 105 Pathfinder Heritage 100 Knife is a heavy-duty American-made outdoor knife. A smaller version of the Buck 119 Special, the Pathfinder has a modified clip blade with a full tang construction that ensures the knife will stand up to serious use over time. A finger guard is integrated into the blade to keep your fingers safe and prevent them from sliding onto the blade accidentally, even when things get messy. Thumb grip ridges also add to a secure grip.
The modified clip point blade of the 105 Pathfinder is 420HC stainless steel, a high quality steel that will perform year after year.
This is a full tang knife, which means that the unsharpened section of the blade extends the full length of the handle. This eliminates natural weaknesses that can result from the joining of blade to handle.
The handle of this hunting knife is classic DymaLux Cocobolo with an aluminum pommel/guard. The cocobolo wood is prized for its durability and stability, while it also has a beautiful, full grain, classic look.
Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both edge retention and performance. The blade is hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of RC57-58 through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.
The 105 Pathfinder comes with a genuine black leather sheath.
Engraving: Engraving: Up to 8 characters can be engraved on the side of the blade with the BUCK branding of the Buck 105 Pathfinder Knife, in addition to 3 on the leather sheath.
