Shipping

All orders at Swiss Knife Shop have the option of Standard Free Shipping, but please note that Standard Shipping is not time-definite. 

If you need your order within a specific timeframe, we recommend you choose an upgraded shipping option to better assure timely delivery.
We offer shipping upgrades at simple fixed cost, regardless of the size of your order.

Our Standard Shipping is free on every order, every day. Orders shipped with this method will arrive 4 - 7 days after they leave our building.

HANDLING & ENGRAVING TIME:
Orders with 1, 2 or 3-day upgraded shipping generally ship the same day the order is processed.
Orders for in-stock, UN-ENGRAVED items ship within 1-3 business days. 
Orders for ENGRAVED, in-stock items ship within 5 business days.

Unfortunately, at this time the Swiss Knife Shop does NOT ship internationally. We ship to the U.S. only, including APOs.

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to a single order to multiple addresses. Please place a separate order for each shipping destination.

Engraving

Orders placed after 8:30 am, ET are generally processed the following business day. 

* Orders for engraved, in-stock items with standard free shipping are engraved and shipped within 5 business days.

* Orders for engraved, in-stock items with 1, 2 or 3-day upgraded shipping are generally engraved and shipped the same day the order is processed.

Products that are eligible for engraving are displayed with a "Personalize It" button on the product detail page. To add your custom engraving, simply click the button, enter your text, choose your font & font color (when applicable), and we'll do the rest.

We will engrave and ship your order as soon as possible; However, engraving can take from 1 - 5 business days before shipment. Please take engraving time into account when placing your order.

If you have a time-sensitive event, either tell us when you need your order in the Order Comments box at checkout (making sure to upgrade shipping as necessary), or call us to confirm availability and shipping times at 1-866-GET-SWISS.

Unfortunately, we only offer engraving on items purchased from Swiss Knife Shop at the time they are purchased.

We maintain a huge inventory of the products we sell. However, occasionally we run out of stock on popular items creating a backorder for that item.

We place orders with our suppliers daily, so out-of-stock items typically come back into stock within a matter of days. When an item is back in stock, we will ship it to you immediately.

If you need to change quantities, cancel an item, or make other changes to your order, please telephone our customer service department immediately.

We do not recommend that you email change or cancellation requests, as your order may be in process and may be shipped prior to receipt and processing of your email.

Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If your order displays a package tracking number, click on that number to link directly to the shipper's package tracking status page. If your package shows a status of "delivered" please check to see if the package might have been delivered to someone else in your household or a neighbor before contacting Swiss Knife Shop.

Orders shipped via US Postal Service First Class mail do not always have tracking numbers. First Class delivery service averages about five business days from shipment date. In rare cases allow as much as 2-3 weeks for delivery of First Class mail.

An item is missing from my shipment.
Please follow the link in your order confirmation email, or log in to your account to view your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order are marked as shipped already. At times, we will partially ship an order while we wait for the rest of the order to come back into stock. 

I received the wrong product.
If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product.

My product is missing parts.
If you have received a product that appears to be missing parts, please contact customer service for assistance.

Returns & Exchanges

Our goal is complete customer satisfaction with your product purchase. We offer free, no hassle returns for 90 days after purchase.

We want you to be happy with your purchase from the Swiss Knife Shop. Most items can be easily exchanged or returned, provided they are not engraved, and are returned in a re-saleable and unused condition (including box, manuals, and other accessories). Sorry, but we cannot take returns on engraved items unless we have made an error in the engraving.

If you have received your order and would like to make a return or exchange within 90 days of purchase, contact our customer service department for assistance in facilitating the return or exchange.

To make your return or exchange as easy as possible, we will assign your return an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number when you contact us. When placed on the outside of your parcel we are able to easily and quickly make the exchange or refund you requested when we receive your parcel.

If you have an item with a manufacturer defect purchased over 90 days ago, or from another retailer, please contact the manufacturer directly. For your convenience, we have provided links to the warranty pages for many of our manufacturers.

1. To make a return or exchange, please contact us by phone (866-438-7947) or email (customer.service@swissknifeshop.com).

2. We will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number & prepaid return label.

3. Follow the return or exchange instructions in the email that we send you, being sure to write the RMA on the outside of the parcel you are returning to us.

Note that returns sent to us without an RMA number on the outside of the parcel will be returned to sender.

4. Swiss Knife Shop will process your return within 5 business days after receipt of your parcel, and will process a credit to your credit card at that time. While we issue the credit immediately, it can take 7-10 business days for your bank to finalize your credit to your account.

PLEASE NOTE: Items returned that are used or with missing parts or not in resalable original product box will incur a minimum restocking fee of 15%. Sorry, but we cannot take returns or exchanges on engraved items unless we have made an error in the engraving.

Warranties & Repairs

Swiss Knife Shop does not offer repair services. However, many of the items we sell are under manufacturer warranty, or can be repaired by the manufacturer or a partner recommended by the manufacturer.

Swiss Knife Shop accepts returns and exchanges within 90 days of purchase. If you have an item with a manufacturer defect purchased over 90 days ago or from another retailer, please contact the manufacturer directly.
