This Victorinox (formerly Forschner*) 3-Piece Paring Set features three paring knives with Polypropylene handles. These knives are NSF (National Sanitary Foundation) certified, as crevices that would offer hospitality to bacteria are minimized. As with all Victorinox knives, the handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension and provide a natural fit.
This set includes one of each of the following essential kitchen knives:
- 3 1/4 inch Sheep's Foot Parer
- 3 1/4 inch Pear Point Parer
- 4 1/4 inch Tomato/Utility Knife
Victorinox Forschner knives all have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again.Engraving: Up to 6 characters can be laser engraved on the 4.25" Utility Knife.
