The Case Eagle Scout Mini Trapper Jigged Navy Blue Bone Pocket Knife is an officially licensed commemorative knife celebrating the Boy Scout's of America's Eagle Scout rank, the highest honor a scout can earn. This special knife has an inlay of the Eagle Scout insignia in the navy blue bone handles, as well as an engraving of the insignia on the clip blade. To make this gift even more special, it comes housed in a unique gift tin.
This Mini Trapper knife makes the ideal gift for scouts who have worked hard to earn Eagle Scout status.
The Mini Trapper is a smaller version of the timeless Trapper model, originally designed for hunting and trapping. It is approximately 1/2 inch shorter when closed than the standard Trapper.
The blades on this knife are made from mirror-polished carbon steel, which is valued for its tensile strength, toughness and ability to stand up to heavy use. Carbon steel is also known for its edge retention and ease of sharpening, allowing your knife blade to be in peak condition even over time.
The Mini Trapper includes a Clip and Spey Blade, both extending from the same end of the knife's handle. The Clip blade is a multi-tasker with a tip for piercing and detail work. The Spey blade, once used on livestock, is an all-purpose blade often used by hunters, especially for skinning game.
