The Buck 664 Alpha Hunter Select Guthook Fixed Blade Knife was designed for large game hunting and includes a strong, full-bellied blade with a guthook. Full tang construction and glass filled nylon handle combine to make this an exceptional go to for your next hunting excursion.
The Alpha Hunter's full-bellied blade has a guthook for game cutting, and a hollow ground, full-bellied edge. The high, hollow grind of the blade facilitates long, sweeping cuts and makes edge sharpening easy. The full tang gives this knife exceptional strength and control.
The blade of the Buck 664 Alpha Hunter Select Guthook is made of 420HC stainless steel, as this material has both exceptional corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed. It is hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of RC58 through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.
The handles of the 664 Alpha Hunter Select Guthook are a strong glass filled nylon with Versaflex.
Included with the Alpha Hunter Select Guthook is a polyester sheath with leather accents to make carrying your knife convenient.
