This SAK has every tool that I need. The two most important tools for me is the scissors and reasonable sized blade. It also has a flat head screwdriver and a 2 dimensional Philip screwdriver. For me this the complete package. I also like the look of the alox scales.

Very disappointed in my purchase no more brass liners. And tools are thicker than my last one. Sharp edges where they shouldn’t be in parts are loose. What the hell is going on?

I have five different Victorinox knives and love them all. This one I keep in my desk drawer. My favorite is the Cadet Alox, but I won't part with any of them, and if I lost one I would replace it right away. I can't say the same for my Benchmade, Spiderco, or TRM knives. I own about 20 knives.

The Pioneer X is a solidly built SAK that has the correct implements for my rotational carry. This, along with the other SAK's, are easily carried in my "Skinth" sheath and although it's heavier; I don't feel as if its a hindrance to carry as I have also a Farmer X. The textured scales is a great asset as it provides a more secure grip and the tendency to have it slip from you is greatly mitigated. Additionally with the protective layer it also prevents corrosion and damage. The Alox construction offers heavier duty tasking in a sleek but rugged carry that will certainly last a long time.
