This knife hits the sweet spot for me. The main blade is great for normal tasks, but the small blade is the ideal small package opener. I have carried the version with the pruning blade for years, but this style should be easier to sharpen and clean.
The awl is also useful, and the flathead with a bottle opener� well, that�s just classic Victorinox right there.
Finally, the Alox scales are great. I�ve carried various Soldats since the 90s, and found that Alox wears like iron (or in this case, aluminum).
