I purchased the ranger Swiss army large nice with multi-tools along with this patch because it was specifically designed for it. The fit is very good. Evil Crow locking mechanism is also very good. It also looks good. But the most important part, functionality victorinox got it wrong! Very rare for this company, but nevertheless true in this case. The leather is very thin and unable to withstand everyday use. Specifically mine is beginning to fracture at the stress points where it hangs onto your belt. It's really a piece of junk in terms of materials of construction. I'm extremely disappointed, needless to say. My advice is to simply take your excellent ranger multi-purpose knife and tool to your local retailer and pick out a high-quality, thick leather nice pouch that will fit on your belt with an Old fashioned snap. It's also my hope that victorinox well learn from this review and build a better product. I love my knife, however! I would be happy to send the pouch back to victorinox for their engineers to look at it, perform a root cause failure analysis and recommend to management better materials of construction. Just let me know victorinox, okay?

I am so sorry to hear that the pouch is not holding up. I was hoping to find an order for you, as I wanted to make sure the correct size pouch was ordered. However, I did find several orders for you but not one for a pouch or a Rangergrip knife so I could not compare. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly as you may have the wrong size pouch. I hope this response is helpful for you.
