Are Helle knives made by hand?

The blades of all Helle knives are made in small batches by machine for precision, and the knives are then assembled, shaped and sharpened by hand. This includes putting the materials together for the handles and sanding them to perfection.

Do Helle knives come with pouches or sheaths?

Yes, Helle fixed blade knives all come with genuine leather sheaths. The sheaths are all made in Holmedal, Norway, as well. The folding knives do not come with sheaths, as they can fold closed for easy carrying.
