What is Damasteel?
Damasteel is a type of Damascus steel created by the company Damasteel in Sweden. It is crafted by forging multiple layers of steel together (in the case of the Damast Picknicker, 115 layers are used), and then folding them into unique patterns, exposing the layers and creating a visually stunning and physically strong blade.
Pear Wood Handles
The Picknicker Damascus has handles crafted from genuine pearwood, with the iconic Victorinox Cross and Shield logo inlaid on the front. These natural wood handles are sanded smooth, and have a warm, comfortable feel.
Only 6,000 Pieces Worldwide
Only 6,000 pieces of the Picknicker Damascus LE were crafted for sale worldwide, and they will never be produced again. To commemorate the year and make these collectibles truly unique, each knife is engraved with the year, 2022, and its own unique serial number between 1 and 6,000. Each one is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and comes housed in a presentation box designed just for this piece.
