The Buck 656 Large Pursuit Pro Knife is durable, highly visible, light fixed blade knife with a sure grip handle. It is a multi-purpose alternative to traditional hunting knives, and is built to last through even tough tasks.
The drop point shape of this knife means it is full bellied, and has a strong, thick point that makes it rugged enough for heavy tasks. The top of this strong, versatile blade drops down toward the tip, minimizing accidental punctures.
The 4.5-inch blade on the Pursuit Pro is made of S35VN stainless steel, which provides the same edge retention as S30V, but is easier to resharpen for sharpening in the field or on the go.
Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed. It is hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of RC58 through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.
The handles of the Buck 656 Pursuit Pro Knife are glass-filled nylon/Versaflex in a highly visible orange. They are crafted with comfort and a secure grip in mind.
