The Boker Rangebuster Folding Knife is a traditional pocket knife developed for agricultural use in America as far back as the 18th century. It is lightweight and features a relatively simple design reminiscent of the Solingen Hippekniep. Unlike the Hippekniep, however, the Rangebuster has a reliable backlock to keep it safely open when in use, but makes it easy to close when finished.

The satin finished drop point blade of the Rangebuster Knife is made of ice-hardened N690 steel with 60 to 61 HRC and is opened by a nail nick. It is flat ground.

Then handle of the Rangebuster is black canvas Micarta with decorative brass rivets that make a bold statement. It is contoured ergonomically to make this knife extremely comfortable to hold - making it span from working knife to gentleman's knife.

The Boker Tree Brand Story
In the 17th century, the Boker family began a small hardware factory beneath a towering chestnut tree in Germany. This tree was incorporated into the Boker's first logo in the 1600s, and has remained an important brand symbol. Over the years, the Boker family expanded their business and moved to Solingen, the City of Blades, to begin the now-famous knife line with cutlery expert Hermann Heuser. In honor of the majestic tree from their first factory, Boker was originally known as Tree Brand, and many still refer to it by this name.
