The Boker Barlow Integral Copper Folding Knife has a teardrop-shaped blade which hearkens back to 17th-century English pocketknives. The name Barlow is thought to have originated with the knife producer in Sheffield who began exporting this knife to North America around 1800, and the Barlow is one of the oldest models made.

This integral version of the classic Barlow has copper handles and bolsters which are milled from the solid. The handle scales are crafted from certified imported desert iron in a warm brown that compliments the copper's glow beautifully

The satin-finished blade of this knife is made of ice-hardened N690 steel, and is opened by nail nick.

The operating safety of this slip joint pocket knife is increased by a 90 degree arrestor when opening and closing the blade.

Both the handle and the blade of this exceptional knife are hand polished. It comes with a high quality felt case to keep it looking as beautiful as the day it was made.

The Barlow is a compact, pocket-friendly companion, but is strong and versatile enough to easily tackle most everyday tasks.

The Boker Tree Brand Story
In the 17th century, the Boker family began a small hardware factory beneath a towering chestnut tree in Germany. This tree was incorporated into the Boker's first logo in the 1600s, and has remained an important brand symbol. Over the years, the Boker family expanded their business and moved to Solingen, the City of Blades, to begin the now-famous knife line with cutlery expert Hermann Heuser. In honor of the majestic tree from their first factory, Boker was originally known as Tree Brand, and many still refer to it by this name.
