Opinel No.08 Outdoor Multi-function Stainless Steel Folding Knife

The Opinel No.8 Traditional Outdoor Multi-function Stainless Steel Folding Knife is a modern, heavy-duty survival version of the iconic Opinel No.8 folding knife. In addition to the essential Opinel blade, which in this model has 1.38 inches of serration, this sports knife includes a shackle key and an all-weather whistle.

This knife is perfect for everything from setting up camp to cooking by the fire, and is equally at home with DIY projects as out in the woods. The serrated portion of the blade easily cuts through natural and synthetic rope; the shackle key works on shackles of 1.58 to 3.94 inches; and the whistle built into the heel of the handle is 110 decibles and can carry for over 300 yards in a clear area.

The No.8 Outdoor features a 12C27 Sandvik steel blade. The razor-sharp blade holds its edge, even when used with hard materials, ensuring a lifetime of performance.

Crafted in the French Alps, this folding pocket knife features polymer handles charged with fiberglass to make them extremely resistant to anything you throw at them - from weather and water to rough conditions and extreme temperatures. The softer sections provide a good grip.

The blade of the No.08 Outdoors locks open for use or closed between jobs with Opinel's patented Virobloc safety ring, which is a stainless steel ring that rotates into position and keeps the blade securely in place.

Caring for your Opinel Knife:
Hand wash only. Do not immerse your knife in water, as this could warp the wooden handle. Dry the blade before closing.
