The Buck 664 Alpha Hunter Select Fixed Blade Knife was designed for large game hunting. This highly capable knife with a full tang is perfect for hunting and rugged outdoor adventures. The strong hollow-ground drop point blade, full tang construction and glass filled nylon handle combine to make this an exceptional go to for your next hunting excursion.
The Alpha Hunter's drop-point blade is full-bellied and has a strong, thick point well suited to even tough tasks. The top of the blade drops down (giving it its name), which minimizes accidental punctures. The high, hollow grind of the blade facilitates long, sweeping cuts and makes edge sharpening easy. The full tang gives this knife exceptional strength and control.
The blade of the Buck 664 Alpha Hunter Select is made of 420HC stainless steel, as this material has both exceptional corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed. It is hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of RC58 through a rigorous heating, freezing and reheating process.
The handles of the 664 Alpha Hunter Select are a strong glass filled nylon with Versaflex.
Included with the Alpha Hunter Select is a polyester sheath with leather accents to make carrying your knife convenient.
