Materials and Safety
Lunch Skins are made from a thick cotton fabric that is coated with a food-safe, moisture-proof polyurethane liner. This unique high-quality fabric is manufactured in Germany by a family-owned business and has been used for many years in bakeries and restaurants. The fabric meets all EU, as well as US, standards for food contact.
Cleaning and Care
Lunch Skins are dishwasher safe. They can be turned inside out before washing. We recommend that Lunch Skins be washed before first use and, while lightweight and fast-drying, make sure they are dried completely before using with food. Even though they are awfully tough, Lunch Skins will soften and fade with use and multiple washings - just like a pair of favorite old jeans. Of course, you can keep them newer longer by treating them like one of those fancy denims and minimize exposure to high heat by spot cleaning and air drying!
