Essential Review by Lyle

Just the right size for pockets, and has the most essential tools I need in a pocketknife.

I got one of these years ago as a Christmas gift, and used it every day until a year or so ago, when the grips got so worn that the embedded metal emblem started peeling off. At one point, Victorinox had stopped making the Tinker in this size, but I was happy to find the Swiss Knife Shop and this knife. I bought two of them, so I have a spare. I don't ever want to be without one again! (Posted on 3/11/2014)

An excellent multipurpose pocket knife that does everything a pocket knfe could do (and much more than most) and does it very well Review by SR

I have carried a Victorinox Small Tinker ~continuously for decades. I used to carry a Stockman style pocket knife until I discoverd the almost incredible versatility, value, and durability of the Sm Tinker. I sure agree with other reviewer "This knife fits in the pocket of what ever your wearing. Weather your in jeans or a tuxedo, I find the compact size of the Small Tinker is about 1/2 inch smaller in length, than the largerTinker. If your wearing dress slax you'll see that 1/2 inch is significant in preventing the feeling of clutter in your pocket.
I always keep one new one stored away in case I lose my everyday Sm Tinker - "I couldn't do with out it.". Excellent pocket knife. (Posted on 7/7/2013)

Just Great! Review by jeffavatech

I purchased this in 2003 while in Germany. I have used this knife all over the world. It has been used to fix many a problem at work from the US to Afghanistan.
All my friends call it the MacGyver. I did have new grips put on while going through Switzerland last year, only 2 Swiss Fracs, otherwise its just as I bought it. I feel naked without it. (o.k., that's wierd, but true) (Posted on 6/6/2013)

Vic Tommarchi's review was exactly right. Review by Arnie

A great little knife. And noticeably more comfortable to pack around than the full size Tinker. (Posted on 12/3/2012)

When I was 12, I purchased my first Tinker for $6.95

By the way 57 years later, while there have been some minor changes to that model, I still have a Small Tinker in my right hand pocket. I couldn't do with out it. (Posted on 7/2/2012)
