The Victorinox Forschner Rosewood 10-inch Cimeter / Butcher Curved Blade Knife features a Classic Rosewood handle and extremely sharp blade that holds its edge. As with all Victorinox knives, the handle is ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension and provides a natural fit.

The Rosewood cutlery collection by Victorinox features the same reliable blades you have come to expect from Victorinox. All Victorinox knives all have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again.

Best knive I own Review by Neal

My father was a meatcutter since 1937 at age 16. He died in 2001, at the age of 81. I inherited this knife which he used most of his adult life. I still use it everyday. My other knives are Chicago Cutlery. They just don't keep an edge. My dad used to test sharpness by shaving the hair off his arm in one stroke. (Posted on 12/30/2016)

Will outlast me Review by Dion

I got this knife about 40 years ago and use it alot and it still looks new. Just a few strokes and it maintains it`s sharpness. I have used cheap knives before but they were so frustrating. This knife performs very well and is a pleasure to use. Every year it is the knife I choose to carve our Thanksgiving turkey. I can see my grand-kids using this same knife down the road. great knives Review by rope, soddy daisy tennessee

have used 403-10 breakdown knives in a meat market i owned in the 80 and 90s and still have some of them i use at home. i have given some to my grandchildren they are married and in their late 20s. these knives keep their edge and i never have to do more than hit em on a steel a few licks to keep them sharp. dont abuse ttem with bones or hard surfaces and they should last forever and a day ... they will cut you to the bone if you misuse them but who wants a dull knife???? i made scabbards for them all so no one gets cut in the drawer where they are kept . knives are still perfect after all the use in a comercial market so i know they will last a lifetime in a home (Posted on 3/8/2010)
