The Victorinox (formerly Forschner*) 6-Piece Paring Set features 6 Forschner knives with nylon handles and extremely sharp blades that holds their edges.

As with all R.H. Forschner knives, the handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension and provide a natural fit.

This paring set includes:

  • 4.50 inch serrated tomato knife
  • 3.50 inch straight paring knife
  • 3.25 inch wavy paring knife
  • 3.25 inch straight sheep's foot knife
  • 3.25 inch wavy sheep's foot knife
  • 2.50 inch vegetable peeler

Forschner knives all have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again.

One of the best Review by Rafael

I purchased a two-piece set of 3.25" Victorinox knives at the Smart & Final for less than $10 by relying on the product name and the made of origin. For some unwise reason, they stopped carrying them. These are the best knives that I have used so far. That is why I just placed a purchase order of a larger set from this on line retailer. With free shipping, this is a great deal, and, I will probably come back for the six-piece steak set. (Posted on 11/28/2011)

Best knives around Review by byerlyca

I discovered these knives when I was living in Hong Kong. A friend told me she had been using them for 8 years and never sharpened them. I bought the set from the Swiss Army store in Central and since them have given them to many people as gifts. They are light weight and reliable. The plastic handles aren't very interesting but the quality of the product is more interesting than the esthetics! If you want a knife that is cheap and reliable, you can never go wrong. Plus the Swiss Army store in HK told me these are made in Switzerland rather than China so quality is never a problem! (Posted on 4/12/2011)
