The Victorinox (formerly Forschner*) 7-1/2 inch Stiff, Serrated Chef's Knife features a Classic Rosewood handle and extremely sharp blade that holds its edge.
As with all Victorinox knives, the handle is ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension and provides a natural fit.
Victorinox knives all have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again.
The Victorinox (R.H. Forschner) 8 inch Chef's Knife with Fibrox handle won the distinction of Best Value in the April, 2007 Cook's Illustrated test. Testers for this popular consumer magazine summarized their review by saying, "This is exactly what a knife is supposed to be."
Blade Length: 7.5 inches
Blade Width at Handle: 1.5 inches
Engraving: Up to 16 characters can be laser engraved below the Victorinox branding.
*What happened to R.H. Forschner Cutlery? R.H. Forschner by Victorinox kitchen cutlery is now Victorinox cutlery. Only the name has changed. The quality, Swiss-made blades and safe, ergonomic fibrox handles remain the same.
Swiss-made • Lifetime Warranty
