The Marsala 4" Pepper Mill by Fletchers' Mill combines precision and beauty. The Marsala collection of high quality wooden mills is a colorful addition to any counter or table. This series of salt and pepper mills is named for the Italian town of Marsala, located on the island of Sicily. The range of colors and shapes of these mills is inspired by the town's architecture and coastline.
Each Fletchers' Mill pepper mill is hand crafted in Maine of the finest American solid maple hardwood to ensure a virtually flawless finish.
Fletchers' Mill pepper mills combine superb hand craftsmanship with the patented stainless steel "Lock and Grind" 2-step mechanism which produces the widest range of grinds available. This mechanism first crushes the peppercorns for enhanced flavor, then grinds them to the chosen consistency. A patented lock-in crown nut maintains any selected grinding setting, however coarse or fine.
The unequaled choice for both form and function, Fletchers' Mill pepper mills are an elegant and practical addition to any kitchen or table setting. For every pepper mill that Fletchers' Mill engineers, there is a matching salt mill, making them "The Perfect Pair."
In addition to exceptional performance, each Marsala mill does good. Fletchers' Mill will donate 3% of the proceeds of every Marsala mill sold to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. This organizations mission is to "save lives by fighting tirelessly to prevent and cure ovarian cancer and to improve the quality of life for Survivors."
Cleaning & Filling Your Mill
To clean and fill your mill, first unscrew top nut and remove top. Next fill it with pepper and turn the top slightly until it clicks into place. Finally screw in the top nut while pushing up on the bottom mechanism, and tighten the nut to the desired grind.
