The Boker Daily AK1 Drop Point Knife is a versatile, compact knife that makes an ideal everyday carry. Designed by young knife-maker Alex Kremer, the AK1 is equipped with a powder metallurgical RWL 34 blade - a high performance stainless steel ice-hardened to 61 to 62 Rockwell Hardness.
The ergonomically shaped handles are made of durable jute Micarta in Bison (dark brown) color. A lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around to disappear into the handle when the handle is dismantled using the included Torx key. The handles can also be replaced with handles developed and produced by the collaboration between Boker and Daily Customs. (Alternate handles sold separately.)
A high quality black leather clip sheath is included with the Boker Daily AK1. The sheath has a sewn-in Ulti-Clip, which you can easily attach to your pocket hem thanks to a locking spring clip, making it possible to remove the knife from the sheath, leaving the sheath secured in your pocket.

The Boker Tree Brand Story
In the 17th century, the Boker family began a small hardware factory beneath a towering chestnut tree in Germany. This tree was incorporated into the Boker's first logo in the 1600s, and has remained an important brand symbol. Over the years, the Boker family expanded their business and moved to Solingen, the City of Blades, to begin the now-famous knife line with cutlery expert Hermann Heuser. In honor of the majestic tree from their first factory, Boker was originally known as Tree Brand, and many still refer to it by this name.
