  • The Boker Schloss Burg Castle Trapper Folding Knife is a piece of history you can carry with you every day. Schloss Burg Castle is a landmark near Solingen, Germany. Located next to the Wupper River, it is one of the largest castles in western Germany, and was constructed in 1133 by Earl Adolf III.

Today, large portions of this historic castle are being renovated to maintain the original structure of this great building. As part of this reconstruction, large planks of old oak wood are being replaced. In collaboration with the castle's historians, this wood is being preserved by Boker in the form of the handles of the Castle Series limited edition knives.

This Trapper knife has a blade made of 01 carbon steel with a special acid wash finish that protects it and furthers the historic appeal of the piece.

The production of the Trapper Castle Knife is strictly limited to only 1,133 pieces worldwide, to symbolize the completion date of the castle.

The Trapper folding knife, a staple in the Boker line for many years, has a slender profile, making it the ideal everyday carry. It was named for the men who roamed the North American prairie years ago, hunting and trapping.

    The Boker Tree Brand Story
In the 17th century, the Boker family began a small hardware factory beneath a towering chestnut tree in Germany. This tree was incorporated into the Boker's first logo in the 1600s, and has remained an important brand symbol. Over the years, the Boker family expanded their business and moved to Solingen, the City of Blades, to begin the now-famous knife line with cutlery expert Hermann Heuser. In honor of the majestic tree from their first factory, Boker was originally known as Tree Brand, and many still refer to it by this name.
