The Boker 2021 Annual Damascus Folding Knife is the 2021 edition of Boker's very distinct, very collectible line of limited edition knives. The production of this beautiful piece in Solingen, Germany is strictly limited to 999 pieces. The knife model chosen this year is the Trapper Uno, a wonderful everyday carry that is narrow and won't weigh you down. The Trapper name of this knife references the American Rangers of the historical settler era.
The steel Damascus blade on this noble version of the Trapper Uno is hand forged by Chad Nichols in a "Ripple" patterned, and is opened with a nail nick.
The striking blue handles are made of domestic blue stabilized curly maple wood, which has a beautiful, distinctive striped transverse pattern. The blue and the brass bolsters represent the colors of the city of Solingen, Germany - home to Boker and renowned for exceptional blades.
The front bolster features Solingen's coat of arms, which has two crossed swords, honoring the importance of the "city of blades", as well as an anchor, the symbol of St. Clement, the patron saint of Solingen since the 10th century.
Each piece of this Damascus collector's edition comes in a presentation box with a floating display, and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity and an individual serial number.
