Rating Solid, great feeling in the hand. Blade is big enough to do nearly anything a pocket knife should do. Unlike many knives, this knife takes and holds an edge. When it locks in position you will know that it is locked and safe. The corkscrew is tough and made to work forever. The can opener does its job very well. The saw blade has separated the pelvic bones of deer and wild hogs and remains frighteningly sharp. It is the one knife that is with me on every trek.
Yes, this knife is an heirloom, rather like a favorite fly rod or a splendid double barrel shotgun.
