Enhanced Data Storage with a Classic Design The Swiss Army Victorinox Flash offers enhanced data storage and transfer technology in the classic form of the Original Swiss Army knife. The Victorinox Flash lets you carry your important data with you, and still have the tools to clip an unsightly thread or make notes before that important presentation. This third generation of Victorinox USB memory stick multi-tools features high storage capacities, faster data transfer through better architecture, and LED indicator lights. (A small LED indicator light on the flash drive stick blinks red when the drive is reading or writing, and turns green when the drive is write protected.) In addition, the Victorinox Flash boasts a high-output white LED light which is extremely bright, and due to redundant LED design does not generate any heat. The flash drive on the Victorinox Flash is removable, offering the traveler the option of keeping their data safely on hand while stowing the multi-tool in their checked luggage. The Victorinox Flash is compatible with the USB 1.1/2.0 interface and Windows (98SE/ME/2000/XP), Mac (OS.X/OS 8.6 and higher), and Linux kernel 2.4x and higher. It requires one free USB slot.

I worked but not really practical. With all the gear, it becomes very heavy and easy break off from the USB connector.

Like other Swiss Army Knives, this is a great product as well as a lot of fun. I always keep one on my key ring, but have lost two going through the airport. I was surprised to learn from this literature that the USB part is removable! How cool.

I don't have this exact version because my 64MB version of this knife is still in my pocket. My original USB drive does not work any longer and I had to replace it. But, it's hard to fault the device for how long it had been in my jeans pocket and everywhere else before it stopped functioning.

This tool is great. I always have a pen, a small blade to cut tags (great a holidays and birthdays), a small screwdriver, and some photos on the USB drive. The red light was pretty worthless, maybe the white one is better.

I do miss the toothpick and tweezers, though.
