My wife purchased the Victornox Swiss Tool for my birthday after being in the army for a year. Everyone had a Gerber or Leatherman or some type of multitool. After using for about a year I became sensitive if someone asked for my Gerber or Leatherman, since I still had my mulitool, still in one useable piece. It is the most reliable and easiest to use, and very strong. I on my third deployment and have used this tool at least once about everyday since I received it. I could not even start to tell you how many things I have fixed or made with just my Swill tool. I have owed several Leatherman's and Gerber's and other brands just to back my Swiss tool up, however they have all failed. So now I am looking at the Spirt for a good back up tool. I have broken screwdriver tips and worn down some parts, but I have broken and worn down the proper tools in the same manner. 14 years of daily use...... I think that says it all right there.

I use to fly all over the country installing and working on medical equipment and as anyone who has ever had to fly on a regular basis with tools can tell you how often your tools are lost or come up the baggage claim belt one at a time with the tool box being broken open.So I needed a back up plan, I picked up my Victorinox SwissTool when I was in Chandler AZ after my tools, once again, vanished from the flight. I started putting this tool in my shaving kit and I was able to start the installations on time and keep the customers happy. I have had this SwissTool for years now and it has held up beautifully. I have used it in the medical centers and in the outdoors from hunting and fishing to climbing Mount Rainer and it still works just as it did the day I purchased it. You cant and wont find a better multi-tool.

I work in a very corrosive environment, with such chemicals as copper sulphate, cyanide and acid products. Other brands of multi tools have eventually corroded and became useless. This Swiss Army Tool is the only one that will not corrode in my line of work. I will not buy any other brand.

i have owned my swiss tool for well over ten years now and use it on a daily basis. as a policeman, it has been invaluable cutting seatbelts, removing license plates, working on guns, cutting wire hangers t to help with people who locked themselves out of their cars and hundreds of other uss which i have forgotten.

the quality and construction are unbelievable. i have been known to use tools hard and break the frequently.

this tool also proved invaluable in the aftermath of katrina when you needed tools for everything but nothing was available. if there is one tool which could cover the widest spectrum of just about any survival situation, this is it.

I have had mine for over eight years and have never had a problem with it. I do try to take care of it and keep it oiled other than that it has been the best multi tool I have ever used and I reach for more than any other tool. it is used daily. Bottom line I would and do tell any one looking for a good multi to buy this one.

I've had my SwissTool for about 10 years and use it daily. The steel used must be extremely high quality as none of the implements have broken off, unlike other tools I've owned. The short, wide screwdriver should have snapped a long time ago considering how many things it's pried open.

Despite being overbuilt, it's not without flaws. The locking buttons stick after a while so you must manually push them up to be sure the knife won't fold on your hands. The philips screwdriver needs redesigning as it slips out easily.

Otherwise, I can't recommend it enough for those that like a tool to last decades.

I have had my Swiss Tool for about 10 year's time as well. I have never once questioned its quality. I tend to be very picky and would notice anything even slightly off. Buy this!!!!!

I've had my Swiss Tool for almost 10 years, & it works as well as the day I got it. All the joints are tight, nothing rattles, nothing shows any sort of wear. I carry and use it all day, every day. I have never seen another tool that I'd rather have. This tool has set the standard for me. I am on my third belt holder.

I have owned every multi-tool out there and I can say with complete confidence and honesty that the Victornox Swiss Tool is the best money can buy. Unlike some other tools that rattle when closed or have to be opened to access the blades and tools, the Swiss Tool makes my tinkering and working on serious jobs easy and free of the hassle of looking for multiple tools. I am a Marine with a few deployment to Iraq and I have had my Swiss tool with me for both tours. No matter how dirty or dusty it got it never gave me an issue with opening or with the locking/unlocking mechanism. Bottom line, since it is such a great tool and it is in the same price range as those other guys, why not get the one with proven reliability and a lifetime guarantee that stands behind it.
