I use this knife and keep it on hand...everyday. It has the basic tools needed for cutting, snipping, or drilling. I do not think anything on this knife is useless.

Now if Victorinox made Evo handles like Wenger, it would be the best knife i ever owned.

This is a great knife. Although I've lost a couple and had to buy new ones, I've used the exact same "Explorer" model since college and I'm now a senior citizen. I wouldn't be without it.

while swiss army knife makes a model called the cyclist it is not the best model for a bicyclist. the phillips screw driver on this knife fits european style phillips screw heads, there are two single blade screw drivers, scissors which can be used on finger nails & you can even open cans. there are no really bicycle specific tools on this knife i usually this as part of my on road tools & it has served me well for many years, indeed i own several of these.

if i got lost in the woods, this might be all i need. it is completion with my evo 15 by wegner. i could just keychain them together and it would be my rescue tool. i'm also looking forward to getting the victorinox yellow rescue tool,knife of the year 2007.

I've had the Explorer for about 10 years, I bought the mini screwdriver for the corkscrew, and the pouch with the steel, I lost the steel but this is THE BEST DAMN KNIFE I have ever owned, I would never be caught without it.
