Rating Large sharp fixed blade with a great array of tools. Larger and heavier than you would expect - but very solid. The saw is great and the scissors are indispensable. The locking blade makes this SAK safer to use. Highly recommended.

Rating Just received my replacement knife. My original one of 15+years was lost.
It was by far the best knife I owned and once even saved my leg in a chainsaw mishap. Even after being heavily nicked it still functioned perfectly.

Rating I bought my Outrider in Munich about ten years ago, long before it was available in the US and have carried it every day since (no, not when clearing airline security).
Though the grips are worn, gouged and battered, the knife continues to do everything well. It even cut down a 2" dia. Christmas tree one year.
My only regret? That I tried to sharpen the scissors once myself and botched the job, but a professional quickly corrected that.
