I bought the Hiker for whittling and work around the house. It is only 3 layers wide, so it is very easy to carry around. The saw is useful for cutting small branches for use in projects or kindling.

I also like the Phillips Head screwdriver because it is very solid. The Phillips also sits fairly flush with the exterior of the knife, so it is less intrusive than a corkscrew when whittling.

this is a great knife I use it for whittling,sawing and making decorations for the house.Everyone should have one of these,I'm only ten and I got one with my allowance!it also looks good and is my favorite tool I own.

have had this knife a few years and have used it for camping, fishing, hunting, and farm use as well as fixing office machines at work. Has all the must have tools in a smaller package than my swisschamp. I don't even know its in my pocket till i need it, which is everyday. I have hundreds of knives and this is my most useful in size and function. This model can do just about everything.

I am not dressed with out my Swiss Hiker. I (worked) in construction (now retired) and
wore out two of these. When I broke my first Hiker at work, I almost cried I still work on the farm and feel naked without my knife, so now I am on number 3. The best thing of all, is when I hear "Grampa, can I borrow your knife"

I bought this knife while on vacation in Bermuda 23 yrs ago. I carry it with me everyday and it has always filled my needs. Excellent knife!

i got this knife at target along with the gardner i dont really use it at all but i use the gardner it came with i am a knife collector and it is a great looking knife and it has every thing you would ever need great buy
